Sam Wang is an actor and writer based in Sydney and Auckland.
Sam studied film making and law at the University of Technology, Sydney before training as an actor at Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School.
After drama school, Sam returned to work as a lawyer for a top 4 consulting firm whilst earning a Masters of Commerce (Finance) at the University of New South Wales.
Satisfied with his brief stint in the corporate world, Sam reset his sights to writing and performing and has since earned a nomination for Best Male Lead in an Independent Production at the 2019 Sydney Theatre Awards for his solo show Skyduck: A Chinese Spy Comedy and won the South Pacific Pictures 'Big Pitch' Competition at the 2019 SPADA Conference in Auckland for his half-hour comedy concept HomeBound 3.0 which is currently being developed.
Sam is represented by Kay Kay Management in New Zealand and is a member of the Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance.
